About ChromaTexChem

Colorants (Dyestuffs, Pigments & Optical Brighteners) are the most important elements of value-addition in various end-user industries, including textiles, leather, paper and also others like plastics, food, cosmetics, paints, inks, pharma, electronics, etc. ChromaTexChem is an event that aims to address the needs of the Colorant Industry as a business platform, bringing together suppliers of these inputs as also Speciality Chemicals, and buyers from the said industries, with a strong and marked emphasis on Textiles, providing a solid business opportunity for the industry. It will help buyers gain latest knowledge of materials, suppliers, regulations, prices, trends and markets, and on the other hand help sellers discover new markets, new customers, competitive trends and also reinforce relations with existing channel partners and customers.

This will be the first event of its kind in India, with very few parallels in the rest of the world, and promises to be a most cherished and valued platform for the industry here in India, and globally as well.

Why India?

India, along with China, has emerged as the leading geography for colorants and specialty chemicals alike. India, even with an impressive existing base, is poised for the next phase and frontiers of growth in terms of both manufacturing of these products, and also more importantly the consumption of these products.

The Textile Industry, in particular, has grown in leaps and bounds, and is now viewed as a global sourcing hub for the textile and apparel sector, as also for the home furnishings and technical textiles segments. Besides a strong domestic market, India also provides a central and convenient location, and also the convenience of the English language, and is thus positioned as an ideal location for the industry from neighbouring regions, which are also large textile economies to visit and engage with. This will also be a vital factor in the growth story and value proposition of ChromaTexChem.

Why Mumbai?

Mumbai is the commercial capital of India, and one of the leading business destinations globally. It enjoys excellent connectivity to the rest of India, and also with the rest of the world, and boasts of infrastructure that is conducive to conduct such an event, in terms of access, hospitality, travel and a business culture. It is also located in West India, which houses a vast majority of the colorant and specialty chemical industry, and also enjoys ideal connectivity to various textile centres across the country.
